My name is Akimoto, and I am a writer based in Tokyo. When I fly to cover a story, I usually spend some time writing in the lounge and often board just before take-off. I’ve noticed that the baggage compartment seems to be full when seen from below, but when I look in the mirror, there’s usually space in the back. I can immediately tell which baggage I need to move to make room. Since learning that, I’ve been spending more time in the lounge.
I consider that the cabin can serve as a good study for me, and since I sometimes write, I often open my bag of documents in the baggage compartment. The mirror is also useful for this. Having a mirror makes all the difference in how long it takes me to find things.
