As I am not considered a tall person, I cannot see my luggage in the overhead stowage bins.
I had to stand on my seat to look inside. I felt bad about inconveniencing passengers near the window.
Mirrors allow me to see into the overhead bins. Now I can find my luggage from the reflection in the mirror.
If mirrors are installed, all passengers involved are happy and content.
